Terry Fox Runs

ESPN tells the true story of Terry Fox, a young man from Canada who battled cancer and wanted to raise money for cancer awareness and research. Terry had his leg amputated during his battle and afterwards trained for 14 months on his artificial leg before embarking on an quest to run across Canada east to west. He planned on doing this by running a marathon a day! The story is both touching, heartbreaking, and definitely inspiring. (The extra special connection in this story is Terry’s age and what he was able to do, which connects with many students.)

A Thai Life Insurance Commercial tells a story (with subtitles) of the unconditional service of a young man in many different areas of his life. He goes through the rejection that many deal with at first when trying to serve and eventually experiences the fruits of his labor.
