Derek Redmond

Summary:

British Runner, Derek Redmond is favored to win the 400 meter race during  the 1992 Olympics. Halfway through the race, he tears his hamstring. Instead of giving up, he continues to hobble toward the finish line. Breaking through security, his father runs onto the track to help him to the finish line, but lets him cross it alone.
