Through a spoken word poem, Suli Breaks encourages students to not place their worth in the results of an exam. He points out success is not determined by how well students do in school nor is education the only way to achieve success. Breaks encourages students to think critically for themselves.
- How do you define success?
- What can we do to change the environments in our schools and communities more welcoming and personalized for all types of students and their needs?
- Where do you place your worth?
- People need different things to be successful in school. How can we transfer this ideology to other situations?
