To the MLFTC Team: Thank you for your work!
At CharacterStrong, we too believe that character “adds purpose to innovation.” We are excited to support your mission in any way we can. Below, you will find some resources and a few possible partnership opportunities!
A PRACTICAL TOOL:
Our Staff CharacterDare is 40 weeks of practical strategies for educators to practice proactive classroom management, community building, and personal character exercise.
We can host our signature 1-Day or 2-Day Training, "Building A Positive & Safe School Culture," at ASU!
We take our collective experience working in over 1,000 schools in person and go in-depth about practical ways to weave character, social-emotional skills, and relationship-building into your classroom and campus culture.
Fast-paced, interactive, and filled with ideas and resources.
We would be excited to create a unit for the college that teaches some key skills that we see missing in many of the educators we work with today:
Ongoing focus on “purpose”
Classroom leadership vs. management
Responding with empathy to challenging behavior
Facilitation techniques for activity-based learning
Differentiated instruction through SEL/character lens
How to infuse character development into the daily fabric of a classroom
